Srinagar, Nov 5: A youth died while two others were injured after their SUV overturned on the Highway in the Lawaypora area of Srinagar outskirts on late Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred near Kirmani Sahib Shrine in Sozeith, where the speedy SUV (XUV 700) crashed, injuring three youths. All the injured were rushed to Noora Hospital for treatment.
Moomin Masoodi, son of Gowhar Masoodi and a resident of HMT, succumbed to his injuries, while Imad Javaid and Afaan Aijaz, both residents of Umerabad HMT, are undergoing treatment.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident. The car suffered massive damage in the accident. [KNT]
