With a passion for cycling that knows no bounds, she has represented her state in four national-level cycling events held across various states, showcasing her commitment and determination to excel in her sport.

Soliha’s journey is a testament to her hard work and perseverance. She wakes up early every morning to train, balancing her studies with her passion for cycling. Her dream is to represent India in the international cycling arena, and she is working tirelessly to achieve this goal. Despite her busy schedule, Soliha remains focused and committed to her sport, always striving to improve her skills and performance.

Soliha is proudly recognized as the first girl cyclist from Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir. Her cycling journey reflects determination, discipline, and a deep commitment to breaking barriers for girls in sports. Soliha has participated in several national-level cycling events, including the Road Cycling Championship in Puri, Odisha, the Mountain Bike Championship in Panchkula, Haryana, and the Track & Road Event in Vijaypur, Karnataka. She was honored by the Hon’ble Governor of J&K with a cash prize for her outstanding contribution and achievements in cycling.

Soliha also secured first position in a prestigious race organized by the Indian Army, from Baramulla to Kaman Post (Aman Setu), and received a cash award and memento from senior Army officers. Soliha is a role model for young girls in rural Kashmir, inspiring them to pursue sports and break barriers. She has been recognized by schools, local media, and youth platforms for promoting a healthier and more inclusive sporting culture. Soliha’s hard work and achievements did not go unnoticed. She had the honor of participating in the Cyclothon – Pedal for Peace event, where she met some of the most influential figures in the sports industry.

The Hon’ble Minister of Youth Services and Sports, Mr. Satish Sharma, was impressed by her dedication and remarkable achievements in cycling. The Minister’s appreciation and encouragement have motivated Soliha to continue pursuing her dreams with even greater passion and determination.

Soliha’s journey is an inspiration to many young athletes in the region. Her passion for cycling and her commitment to training have made her a role model for those who aspire to make a career in sports. With her achievements, Soliha has shown that with hard work and determination, one can achieve great heights. Her story serves as a reminder that age is not a barrier to success, and that with the right mindset and support, young athletes can achieve their goals.
