One killed, two injured over land dispute in Poonch

Poonch, April 20 : A person was killed and two others were injured during clashes over a land dispute in Kenu area of Mandi in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Reports reaching GNS said that a scuffle started between two brothers over a piece of land in village Kenu.

During the scuffle, one person namely Mohd Lateef son of Fakro Khan resident of Mandi area (60 year old) died on the spot while as two others were injured who have been identified as Mohd Yasir and Zamroot Ahmad and have been hospitalized.

SSP Ramesh Angral while confirming the death and injuries in the clash said that one weapon used in the crime has been recovered from the spot.

He further said that a police team led by DySP headquarters Poonch and SHO immediately reached the spot and have arrested three person.

The officer said that an FIR was also registered in this connection and further investigating has been taken up.(GNS)
