Sopore : Manan Hassan Wani, a 25-year-old youth hailing from north Kashmir’s Sopore town of Baramulla district travels about 4000 Kms from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in 27 days trip on a bicycle.
Wani started his journey on January 1st from his hometown Sopore towards his destination Kanya Kumari and reached on January 27.
“I left Sopore on January 1st to KanyaKumari, a 4,000 km travel project, which I completed in 23 days excluding 4 days rest”, Wani said.
The areas I covered to completed my journey from Sopore to Kanyakumari include Sopore, Qazigund, Ramban, Jammu, Pathankot, Ludhiana, Kurukshetra, New Delhi, Mathura, Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi, Sagar, Lakhnadon, Nagpur, Pandharkawada, Nirmal, Bhiknoor, Hyderabad, Kurnool, Anantpur, Bengaluru, Salem, Madurai and Kanyakumari, he said.
“It was an 11 stage travel which started from Jammu and Kashmir then Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi, UP, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Andra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh”, he said.
“I wanted to send a message to all those youths there that if one is dedicated, they can achieve their dreams”, Wani added.
