Srinagar, Mar 24: A youth from Pir Panchal belt of Jammu division who has been singing on various platforms across India has now started to work with Zee music.
Ehsan Ashgar, 28, a resident of the main town Poonch has sung first song for Zee music company titled “Bhool Chuke hai” was released recently.
Ehsan, who is currently working physical education teacher in his own district, while talking with—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that he was interested in singing since childhood but there was very less support from the family.
Ehsan said he has participated in various talent hunt shows including Choona Hai Asman. He has won twice such events.
“In the year 2016, I got an opportunity to show my talent at the Indian Idol show, where I got a spot in the best 24 singers of the year. Since then I have worked with various famous music directors of Bollywood,” he said.
“I have spent more time with music director Rayees Zain Sam and with his support, I got an opportunity to work with Zee music company,” he said, adding that his one the song has been already released, while many more will be released soon.
Ehsan said though Kashmir lacks a proper platform for artists, social media is the biggest tool in the present era where one can showcase their talent.
“One can easily upload his artistic work on social media which is being seen globally and talented people always get attention,” he said.
“I am also making videos of beautiful places in our area and uploading them with music background, so that they will get attention from the government and developed as tourist spots,” he said.
Ehsan said the artist must have patience and shouldn’t lose heart if he is rejected at any platform.
