Srinagar, April 16 : Aroosa Ashraf, a passionate writer kept a secret for a few years that even her closest friends didn’t know.
The Central Kashmir’s 12th grader loves to write, and a few years ago started on a journey to become an author.
“The main purpose of my writing is to bring reforms in the society by writing on the present situations like social evils that had engulfed the society of saints” Aroosa told Kashmir Despatch.
A 12th standard student, Aroosa Ashraf, from a well-known village of Chrar-e-shareef area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam District has completed her maiden book titled ‘Fifth chamber Of Heart’ and is currently working on another collection of prose and poems.
The young author said that she had been writing since 5th standard.
“I have not been influenced by any writer, neither I read any writer, it is all my own experience. I faced both tough and favorable circumstances and today I am here with my first book”, Aroosa said.
It is amazing to know about all those people who have shown what it really takes to become the best in what one chooses to do. These individuals prove that when one works with a determined mind and heart, no obstacle can ever be big enough and people can achieve their desired success.
When we speak about states like Jammu and Kashmir in India, all of us are aware of how these places have had to see some grave situations and times all through these years; it is something that the world knows and is aware of how things have been.
Amidst all these things, when some youngsters rise above the same to prove to the world their real mettle and exhibit their true talents, shining bright with their resilience and perseverance, it always feels too surreal.
One such young talent named Aroosa Ashraf from Budgam, Kashmir, shined like a bright star in the artistic world and proves her excellence as a poet and writer despite being an 12th grade student.
Even in a hostile environment marred with decades-long conflict, youngsters in Kashmir have, time and again, proved their mettle in every field of life at home and outside.
“I am always in black mood as my life was beset with anxieties and sandness. But as a writer you have to face all these situations and move on. Circumstances can’t be a hurdle if you are determined to do something,” Aroosa added.
As a young poet she has always beliefs that nature can heal every person better with broken heart.
