Srinagar: This saying fits perfect with the story of 19 years old Zuhaan Manzoor who achieved his dreams just with a tinge of hard work. Belonging to the posh area of Rajbagh Zuhaan always dreamt of becoming an actor and a model.
Since a young age he was fond of dressing up and clicking pictures but his family had different plans. He was put into a field where he had no personal interest. So while trying to “study hard” he realised that he was toying himself for no valid reasons and decided to opt out which famously is called “dropping out” in Kashmir, from studies. Zuhaan always wanted to lead , as a leader , towards his dream and preferred his own business venture over a 9-7 job. As he believed if he needs to live his life to the fullest he has to be his own boss.
Zuhaan worked hard over his modelling and acting skills and sought out mentoring from various artists and people. After struggling for a year and a half he decided to participate in a modelling show where he ended up being the first runner up because of his height. And ironically his struggles did not end there he still had to struggle to mark his name in acting and due to his lacking in acting skills he faced alot of rejections and kick outs.
He decided to get registered to an online acting course and furnished his acting skills. After getting certified from the online classes he signed up with various modeling agencies.
After his success he decided to establish a platform for his fellows from Kashmir. And he knew Kashmir is full of talented people who lack basic platform to garner their talents. He started his own production house named ” Reimagined Film Studio” with a partner who left him midway but with strong determination Zuhaan after taking a break of couple of weeks he finally established his production house to provide a platform to focus on production of webseries and short films.
Zuhaan seemed help from his friends Farmaan , Safura , Faizul , Tanzeela all are coming from professional fields who later became his partners. He also seeked mentoring from some renowned names like RJ Mursal and Musaib Malik, who always help him whenever he is stuck.
Currently he is working as actor, director and CEO of “Reimagined Film Studio” and also working with Panaash Productions Teen India And FTC Talent
Currently they have in their line up one webseries , two short films namely “Raaz The Unknown” “Covid the human extinction” and “Haunted Flat 339” respectively, which all got approved from online streaming platforms.
