Jammu: Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust organised a drive of feeding grain and water to birds by placing bowl of water for them for drinking water drive at Jammu. On this occasion State BJP General Secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta was Chief guest .Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said feeding grain and water to birds during the summer is the great initiative taken by the Trust under the presidentship of Mahant Rohit Shastri.Shastri said Birds after all make our environment beautiful and they should in turn kept well by us. Moreover, for feeding birds what we have to do is to placing bowls on the balconies and on our roofs and all common areas of our houses, we must make it a point to put out a bowl of water for them to drink. Likewise, birdfeeders can also be installed in our homes so that any bird that flies by our house can eat and drink. Together, we must do something such as this which would benefit the birds. These small acts are a mark of our true humanity and we must all learn to do such acts of spiritual and social merit. I hope that you all will share this message and make an attempt to act upon it.
