“Appeal to Chairman J&K Board of School Education, to issue extension of affiliation orders to all old Schools, pending for want of NOC from Traffic Department.” MPEJ.

The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice in a press release issued here have appealed to the Chairman, J&K Board of School Education to immediately issue extension of affiliation orders to all old affiliated schools which are pending for want of NOC from Traffic department & are functioning for more than 10 years smoothly without any vehicles & creating no traffic problems & don’t have any vehicles of their own or hired any vehicle for the students & the schools. As these schools have already submitted the requisite Affidavits duly attested by 1st Class Judicial Magistrate to J&K Board of School Education, Jammu as per instruction.

They said that on 12th of February, 2020, on the 3rd Annual conference, organized by Jammu & Kashmir Private Schools Coordination Committee (JKPSCC) on the topic “Strengthen quality education in private Schools” at Teacher Bhawan Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, where Hon’ble Advisor to Lt. Governor, Sh. K.K.Sharma was the Chief Guest, Director School Education, Smt. Anuradha Gupta & Secretary Board of School Education, Jammu, Mr. Rafi Ahmed were the guest of honour. And in this conference, the issue of NOC from traffic department to the old schools was highlighted by the speakers of the coordination committee & the Hon’ble Advisor to Lt. Governor, Sh. K.K.Sharma discussed this issue with Director School Education , Jammu & Secretary J&K Board of School Education & though the Hon’ble Advisor also passed instructions at the request put forth by the representatives of private schools Association present there that  old private school management should furnish affidavit only,  duly attested by a 1st Class Judicial Magistrate in place of NOC by the IG traffic department, which reportedly the management of  Private schools have already furnished to the J&K Board of School Education, authorities, so for, could not do the needful, they alleged.

They have again further appealed to Chairman, J&K Board of School Education to  intervene personally in to the matter and immediately without any further delay, pass instructions to concerned quarters to issue affiliation orders to all pending extension of affiliation cases of old schools as early as possible so that students’ future is not stuck in stake, as the schools & the students are already facing problems in their studies due to spread of corona virus in the country, please.
