The air of August always fills our hearts with a never-ending grief; as my most beloved person, my husband; Prof. Dr Saleem Iqbal left for an eternal abode on 9 August,2017; leaving behind all the wordly pleasures.
However the departed soul left behind a deep void that can’t be filled by anything less or more. Your demise has changed our perception of life. Your absence takes a toll on your joys. Nothing feels alright without you.
We’ve not stopped missing you since you left with some unsaid words, ridden with scars, & an untimely demise. Each day suffocates us, as your absence echoes around us.
We miss everything about you like your contagious smile, generosity towards everyone alike, & profound knowlege.
May Allah bless your pious soul with choicest blessings & help us to endure this lament of separation as long as I shall live (Ameen).
