Zero ceasefire violations in Kashmir, no instigation from across the border: Kashmir Army Commander

Srinagar, Sep 20, KNT: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Srinagar-based Chinar Corps (15 Corps), Indian Army, Lieutenant General DP Pandey Monday said that there has been no instigation from across the border and there has been no ceasefire violation.
“There has been no ceasefire violation. Ceasefire violation was none and there has been instigation from across the border,” he said adding that there were two instances of infiltration.
Out of these, the first one was neutralized, while the army has started an operation in Uri to look into the matter of infiltration bid.
GoC 15 Corpos was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function organized by army to felicitate students of Ist an IInd Batch of Kashmir Super 30 (Medical), who are now undergoing the MBBS course after clearing NEET and the project’s CSR partners HPCL & National Integrity & Educational Development Organization (NIEDO).
Lieutenant General DP Pandey also spoke about the ongoing militant activities in Jammu and Kashmir and said that around 60-70 militants are currently active in Valley. (KNT)
