Qasim Sajad Passes Away, JKPA Condoles
Srinagar, Oct 4, KNT: The Executive Members of Jammu Kashmir Press Association (JKPA) held an emergency meeting, chaired by Gh Hassan Kaloo, to mourn the sad demise of veteran Journalist, Qasim Sajad, who passed away after at his ancestral place on Monday,4th October,2021 after a brief illness.
The deceased was well versed with Urdu Language and is on record to have contributed a lot to Urdu Journalism in J&K. He was not only a prolific Writer but a fire-brand Speaker too. The audience would get enchanted and enriched with his speech.
He was editing a newspaper and has authored several books. His passing away has left a big void which is difficult to get filled. He was an active Executive Member of JKPA and was part of many delegations of the Association. All the members prayed for the departed soul and expressed complete solidarity with all members of the bereaved family. (KNT)
