Police Invoke Case Against Duo Under Cheating, Forgery Sections

Srinagar, Jan 1 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir police Saturday lodged a case against two arrested persons alleged of cheating and forgery in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police official told GNS that before some days police raided a photostat shop at ARTO office in Budgam. “2 persons identified as Adil Rashid Mir son of Ab Rashid, resident of Kathwar and Mohd Qasim Bhat son of Mohd Jaffar, resident of Zabber Mohalla Budgam”, the official said.
“After few days into custody a case FIR No 01/22 US 420 – Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property – and 468 – Forgery for purpose of cheating – IPC, was invoked against the duo on recovery of driving licences and some other documents”, the official further said. (GNS)
