Minor Girl from Srinagar Dies in Awantipora Road Mishap
Srinagar, Feb 10 (GNS): A 2-year-old girl from Soura Srinagar died in a road accident in Awantipora this afternoon.
Reports reaching GNS said that a girl identified as Touba Rani daughter of Abdul Majeed, hailing from Soura Srinagar boarding a ‘Wagon R’ vehicle driven by one Shiekh Suheel son of Ghulam Hassan met with an accident along NHW at Chersoo.
The injured girl was immediately evacuated from the site to PHC Awantipora, where she however succumbed to her injuries shortly after admission.
Confirming the incident, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered in this regard for further investigations. (GNS)
