Today, the 12 th April, Sunday, This office received one complaint , amidst the lockdown enforced by district magistrate srinagar during this pendemic, that one meat seller from rainawari is selling meat on exorbitant price of Rs 900 .
Taking Cognizance of the matter, the tehsildar Khanyar, along with SHO concerned went on spot and sealed the said shop along with its slaughter house. Also the SHO was directed to lodge FIR against the culprit under the relevent provisions of Law in Vogue. Also the locals were apprised that no laxity whatsoever will be tolerated during the lockdown. In case of any medical emergency & other issues, the locals were directed to contact the zonal Committee, constituted by deputy Commissioner Sgr.
