A Militant has been killed, CRPF personnel and policeman also injured in ongoing encounter which broke out between militants and goverment forces in Kanimazar area of Nawakadal in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday.
A senior Police officer told GNS that a militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter, the identity of militant is yet to be ascertained as operation is still underway.
The operation was suspended due to darkness as the area is congested. Operation was resumed with the first ray of light, the officer said.
Meanwhile voice calling ( except BSNL) and mobile Internet has been suspended in Srinagar district for precautionary measures.
