The picturesque fields with yellow and green hues of the flowers have been attracting hundreds of tourists for the last fortnight.

Like tourists click photographs in Dal Lake, Pahalgam, Gulmarg , saffron fields and other tourist spots, tourists are mesmerised by the beauty of mustard fields.

Shakeel Ahmad, a resident of Aishmuqam area of Anantnag said that visitors are delighted by the beauty of the mustard, prompting them to come out of their vehicles and spend time in mustard.

Umar Ahmad a resident of Tangmarg area also said that tourists visiting Gulmarg are also spending some time and take photographs in the mustard fields lying in outskirts of Gulmarg

KNO spoke to tourists in fields who said that they find themselves lucky to visit Kashmir in spring when mustard fields are in bloom.

Krishan a tourist from Gujarat told KNO that visiting Kashmir and spending some time in mustard fields is giving him a peace of mind and he prefers to visit Kashmir in spring as Kashmir is more beautiful in spring.

Meanwhile, farmers across Kashmir are expecting better income this year as mustard fields are in full bloom—(KNO)
