We receive input about IED attack on regular basis : Army
Srinagar: Army on Sunday said that they are getting regularly inputs about the IED attacks in the southern region of Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference Commander 2 Sector Commander Brigadier Ajay Kotach said that the army is getting regular inputs of IED like attacks on the security forces since the last 5-6 operations, which had started from ending June.
He said there had been the presence of foreign militants in the operations.
While sharing the details of Amshipora gunfight, the army commander said a gunfight broke in the newly constructed house in which three militants were killed.
The officer said besides the dead bodies with arms and ammunition along with IED material was also recovered from the killed militants.
