Raqeeq Ahmed Khan demands compensation of Rs 20 lakhs for woman died in absence of ambulance in Poonch
Jammu, August 4: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) Youth leader Raqeeq Ahmed Khan has demanded an enquiry into the casual approach of the hospital administration due to which a pregnant woman died in absence of ambulance.
“The woman was not provided an ambulance by the Poonch hospital authorities and finally the woman died due to severe pain after delivering a baby girl,” said Raqeeq expressing his condolence with the family members.
The youth leader was concerned about the non-serious approach of the hospital authorities due to which a poor woman died and her daughters became orphans.
“The district administration should take over all the expenses of the daughters of the victim woman and give compensation of Rs 20 lakhs to her family members,” demanded Khan.
The JKAP youth leader demanded that the action should be taken against the erring doctors and administration officials for their poor response to the emergency situation
