Bandipora, 28, Aug, 20 : As desired by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr.Owais Ahmad and in view of the incessant rains from last few days Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal Dr. Bashir Lone along with Executive Engineer IFC Mohammad Mustahasan,AEE Mr. Altaf Ahmad JE’s Showkat Ahmad and Haris Rafiq ,Naib Tehsildar Hajin Mr. Manzoor Ahmad visited embankments and critical spots at Asham,Bangitaar,Balabal,Wangipora and Shadipora of river Jehlum and Nallah Firozpora to examine the situation and to get firsthand appraisal of the same.So far as the Situation is under Control at the time of visit although Dr. Lone stressed upon the concerned Officials to be ready so that any kind eventuality is tackled smoothly and advised the constant monitoring and preparedness.
As advised by Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal Naib Tehsildar Madwan also examined the flood critical spots and reported that situation as of now is under Control.
