In order to prevent the spread of Corona Virus, Awantipora Police seized 36 vehicles including 10 bikes from different areas of Police District Awantipora for violating curfew orders.
12 vehicles were seized by Police Station Awantipora, 03 vehicles and 01 bikes were seized by Police Station Pampore, 06 vehicle were seized by Police Station Tral and 05 vehicles and 09 bikes were seized by Police Station Khrew who were found to be plying in the said areas without the passes issued by the competent authorities or Government permission.
No movement without valid passes/govt permission is permitted during lockdown period.
People of Awantipora, Tral, Pampore and khrew are requested to stay inside and cooperate with law enforcing agencies for implementation of effective lockdown. Movement of vehicles without valid passes will be strictly dealt under law.
