As COVID19 continues to Develop it’s roots in the country PM Narendra Modi today extended the Lockdown till 3rd May as a Precautionary measure to avoid it’s outbreak.
Following the orders The administration of Jammu and Kashmir is Fighting hard to Stop the Spread of this deadly virus as the UT has already reported 273 positive cases of COVID19 and Alone kashmir division Chased the mark of 215 positive cases so far.
Due to the fast spread Of this virus Government has already closed all the educational institutions throughout the Country which effected the Education system all over the nation.
Adding COVID19 Pandemic and Abrogation of Article 370
The education System now in Kashmir is completely Paralyzed
To compensate the loss of educational Sector, Authorities and several Individuals including Private Schools in Kashmir have run the campaign of online education classes which received an overwhelming response from the students.
However The Voice Of Kashmir has received several Fone calls from the students, who showed anger over 2G mode of kashmir valley
“We are not able to even understand a single lecture from the teachers who taught us online as the video plays for 5 seconds and buffers for 1 hour said.” Aadil Ahanger a student of 5th Semester
Umer farooq a student of 12 standard told that “it’s impossible to learn online Chemistry and Chemical reactions when your speed is on 2G mode”
“I’m confused why their is silence from Administration when it comes to the restoration of High-speed internet in Kashmir, I fail to understand if Government of India is playing a stepmother role with us Sehrish Rashid a student of SRM welkin School said.”
The students and parents appealed the Lieutenant Governor to kindly restore the internet so that The students may not lose the core Academic Season once again (VOK)
