PMK leader Ramadoss said the decision to extend the lockdown is was to protect the people and all should cooperate with the government.

He said the spread of coronavirus in India was controlled as the decision on the lockdown was taken at the right time by the Central government.

According to him, the decision to extend the lockdown in Tamil Nadu is inevitable as the virus spread has not decreased.

Ramdoss also urged all the District Collectors in Tamil Nadu to make wearing of face masks in public compulsory.
