MUMBAI: A 29-year-old female Covid-19 patient, who was undergoing treatment, committed suicide by hanging herself in the BYL Nair Hospital’s bathroom early on Wednesday.
This is the first suicide case of a Covid-19 positive patient in the city.The incident came to light at around 3.45am on Wednesday.
The hospital staff broke open the bathroom door when the woman did not respond for long time.
They found her hanging from the ceiling with her dupatta.TOI
