On 02/05/2020,police party led by Insp. Sohan Singh Bandral SHO PS Atholi Padder,was on patrol in Sansari area. While patrolling, a reliable information was received to the effect that 05 persons are found violating lockdown restrictions and are coming from Luz Pangi Himachal Pardesh towards Gulabgard Padder on foot.
On receipt of this specific information, nakas/check points were activated under the supervision of SDPO Atholi Padder Shri Pardeep Singh Sen,JKPS and after hectic search all the peraons were apprehended.Following the SOP with regard to COVID-19, all the apprehended persons were brought to Gulabgarh and kept under Quarantine after taking all the medical precautions.
In this regard two cases, FIRs NO. 13/2020 & 14/2020 Under sections 188/269/270/IPC have been registered at Police Station Atholi against the Lockdown violators and investigation set in motion.
Kishtwar Police has requested the general public to follow the advisory/guidelines/orders issued by govt. in letter & spirit and if anyone found violating the orders, shall be dealt under law accordingly.
