Ensuring the implementation of the government schemes in most transparent and effective manner, the officials are regularly touring the area to motivate the local people for reaping benefits of all the schemes meant for them.

The department has completed 132 works under 14th FC, 270 under MGNREGA and other schemes which include Foot paths, tractor roads, drains, Bowlis, development of springs, protection works, land developments, Khuls, play fields, repairs works and other works as per the guidelines of different schemes in all nine Panchayats of block.

In the recent past, payments of around Rs 80 lakh were released under 14thFC, 5 crore under PMAY, over 40 lakh under SBM and allied schemes and over 2 crore under MGNREGA by generating one lakh mandays.

The funds were directly transferred into bank accounts of workers and vendors strictly as per the guidelines of government.

Under PMAY against the target of 780 houses, 690 houses have been paid first installments, 186 second installments and 119 third installments through online mode. Since the inception of scheme in the district, a total of over Five crore has been credited directly into the accounts of beneficiaries.

The block has covered 100 percent ST and SC houses.

Under SBM an amount of Rs. 12000 is being paid into the account of each registered beneficiary and the block has achieved 100 percent progress in the last year and now all left out beneficiaries devoid of benefits have been surveyed under LOBs and NLOBs. The department is regularly paying amount of Rs. 12000 to the completed Individual House Latrines under Left out (LOBs) and similarly NLOBs will also be covered in the current financial year.

The block has constructed 11 Community Sanitary Complexes in all the nine Panchayats near religious places, water locations and at other community places and in the current financial year plan , 9 more sanitary complexes has been submitted to cover left out areas.

Under Back to Village scheme, one Play ground has been constructed and similarly under MGNREGA in convergence with other sectors like Youth and sports, Horticulture and agriculture play ground, ponds and other renovation works have been completed so far.

Under 14th FC and MGNREGA, the government has transferred planning, execution and payments powers to the Panchayats. Gool is one of the remotest blocks in the district with difficult hilly terrain and scattered population, but despite all odds it is far ahead of those in plain areas.

Under the leadership of BDC Chairperson, the Sarpanchs and Panches are working in field with utmost zeal and dedication.

During ongoing COVID-19, the officials of departments along with Sarpanchs and Panchs made coordinated efforts to facilitate the people as per the instructions of District Administration. Only because of efforts of Rural Development Department, the local people got employment under MGNREGA on the works sites.
