Restrictions for 5 days will result huge mess, Long Queues at banks: locals

Baramulla, Wednesday, 26 August: Locals hailing from different parts of North Kashmirs Barmaulla District on Wednesday Appealed Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr GN itoo to ease restrictions on Commercial and public activities in the Banking sector
Locals from Sopore, Pattan, Kunzer, Kreeri etc told that “we are facing Serious problems as Administration has ordered closure of Banks for Public Activities during Extension of Lockdown In the district”.
“Due to the Continues Lockdown from A year The Economy of kashmir has witnessed a worst hit, Now Frequent shutdown of Financial Institutions leads destruction of Young startups which further Weakens The Economical health Of Common people”: locals said.
“We are very cooperative with the Administration to fight against this virus but Locking down the banks for 5 long days will result huge mess and long crowded Queues”:They added
“We request The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla to kindly Ease the restrictions and allow much needed public dealing in Banks, we shall be following all the SOP’s if Administration will Resume the public working in the banking sector “: They further Added
It’s pertinent to mention that District Baramulla has seen surge in COVID positive cases from past few weeks, in view of that District Administration imposed 5 days lockdown on 25th to 29th August.
