Deeba Shameem
Bisma Yaseen, an artist hailing from Srinagar. She is interested in art since school days, She possesses a strong sense of art and forward thinking that is consistently displayed across all her art pieces.
“I am completely self-taught. Sketching, painting, and calligraphy is what I have been passionate about throughout my life, while being busy with studies I have loved and done every work related to art so easily.” Bisma said.
She said “I had to choose a different stream only because of the reasons of owning quite negligible mediums for the same. Maximum people here, who are interested and passionate in making carrier in this field either have to move out of state, or have to split their ways from this profession due to the mentioned reason.”
“I too had no concept of carrying it as a profession or study related to it that time, as here, our society , our elders just focus on us to opt for the carriers that are quite common and have been passing on to heritages. I too had to choose the same wherein I recently completed professional bachelors degree from Jamia Hamdard University” she said.
She urged government to provide more and more mediums and forums and be a support and encourage the youth.
Bisma has recently completed professional bachelors degree from Jamia Hamdard University New Delhi. Our team wishes her all the good luck in the future.
