Kupwara, May 21: Joint Forces Thursday claimed that they arrested a farmer and recovered grenades and bullets from his possession in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Police sources told KNT that soldiers from 28 Rashtriya Rifles and SOG personnel arrested a farmer from Wani Doosra area of Lolab Kupwara.
They said that 3 live grenades and 60 bullets of AK-47 rifle were recovered from the possession of the farmer who has been identified as Rashid Ahmed Lone, a resident of Naaga Keran village. (KNT)
