Srinagar, August 09: National Investigation Agency on Monday continued its crackdown on Jamaat-e-Islami by raiding five more locations in Valley.
In a statement to GNS, it said that NIA Conducts Further Searches At Five Locations in Jammu and Kashmir in Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) militant Funding Case (RC-03/2021/NIA/DLI)
It further stated that today (09.08.2021), in continuation of the searches conducted against JeI yesterday, NIA along with J&K Police and CRPF conducted searches at five places in District Bandipora in case RC-03/2021/NIA/DLI.
Searches conducted today included the premises of office bearers and members of the proscribed association, JeI, they said.
During the searches, various incriminating documents and electronic devices were seized from the premises of the suspects.Further investigation in the case continues, reads the statement.(GNS)
