Police recovers kidnapped minor girl; accused person arrested
*December 04:* “`Police in Budgam have recovered a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused person involved in the commission of crime.
On 30/11/2021, Police Station Beerwah received a written complaint from one person stating therein that his minor daughter is missing since 28/11/2021 and has probably been kidnapped by some unknown persons.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 161/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Beerwah and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, some suspects were questioned and following some leads it surfaced that the girl was kidnapped by one person identified as Rahil Ahmad Wani resident of Shaheed Ganj Srinagar and took her to Delhi.
Accordingly, a team of police officers along with lady police were sent to Delhi for recovery of the kidnapped minor girl. Consequently, on 03/12/2021, the team was able to recover the kidnapped girl from Karata 87, Karol
