Jammu,May 31 SIA Jammu arrested former HM militant Abdul Rashid alias Arsalan son of Abdul Gani Sheikh resident of Tantna A/P Ghat, Doda.
The said the militant was involved in case FIR No.06/2010 U/S 13/18/18.B/ 20 UA(P) Act of P/S JIC Jammu.
During the crime review by the Director SIA J&K, the SIA team was directed to identify the militant involved in the said FIR and after strenuous efforts, the CIO of the instant case, deputed the team to Doda to arrest the said militant.
As the said militant was active in the year 2009-2010 and was constant touch with Kashmir based HM militants and carried out many militant activities in Doda valley, which will be further unfolded and unearthed during the further investigation of the said case.(KNT)
