Releases his recent song about ill effects of drugs

Kulgam, May 23 :- A youth from South Kashmir’s Kulgam district has become an internet sensation due to his talent in writing and playing raps.
Umair Manzoor (23) popularly known as Umi Afeem a resident of Reshiepora in Kulgam town who is pursuing his bachelors after pursuing sound engineering is now famous in making songs.
Umair while talking with VOK said that he was fond of writing since his childhood and after completing engineering in sound designing, he started writing raps.
“I have written and sung so far around two dozen songs which were based on real life struggles while despite people liking classical songs here are also liking our rap songs too.” He said
I have also produced around 70 songs which have become very hit on social media and in next coming more songs will be produced,” he said.
Umair has worked with famous singers of kashmir like Ishfaq Kawa and others and has produced sensational songs.
“He is also owning his record label namely Kash Beatz where he is launching singers and so far several singers have been launched there,” he said.
Besides a rapper and record producer, Umair has interest in photography too and is also fond of travelling.
“I possess a “never give up” attitude and have started a studio on my own without any support from others,” he said.
Umair has recently released a song on ill effects of drugs in which he can be seen advising youth to stay away from drugs to live a happy life.
“The topic of must of my raps remains “ill effects of drugs” as I want youth to see avoiding drugs and help youth in quitting drugs.” He said.
He said that youth must follow their passion with dedication and should never give up and one day they will definitely reach to their goal.
