Pattan 26 April,CNS: while Taking a Strong note of Complaints that Some Government employees & landlord’s are holding low rate (PHH and BPL) Ration Cards & large no of poor people are suffering, today Sub Divisional Magistrate Pattan Syed Naseer Ahmad has directed Tehsil Supply officer Pattan to reverify the BPL/AAY Card holder’s and also submit the fresh List of the alive family member’s & deceased Person’s died since last census.
Accordingly Tehsil Supply officer Pattan Mohmmad Yaseen has directed all the Fair Price Distributors of pattan town to Submit Fresh list of alive & deceased family members of their respective areas after Proper physical Verification in consultant with Concern Masjid Committees & Baitul Maal within Seven days. Further thay have been directed to identify the government employees who are holding BPL/AAY Ration Cards which was the right of Below Poverty line people.
It is pertain to mention here that No.of Government employees are presently receiving free Ration on AAY & BPL ration cards & on other side there are so many below poverty line people who are not receiving free ration & are suffer due to poverty and financial crunch.
locals of Pattan town including Markazi & Islamic Bait-ul-Maal Maal Pattan have highly appreciated the decision of SDM Pattan for verification of Low Rate Ration Cards & deceased persons.(CNS)
