Bandipora, May 12: JKAP district president Bandipora Syed Shafaat Kazmi has extended his greetings to people of Jammu and Kashmir especially people of Bandipora on the auspicious occassion of Eid- Ul-fitter. In a statement issued today Syed has prayed for eternal peace and harmony in the Valley and blessings of good and prosperity to whole mankind.
He said, ”Ramadan fast teaches us to practice piety, self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, tolerance, justice and empathy for the less fortunate in society.
He added that the festival of Eid is a unique and special occasion leading the mankind at the path of peace, harmony and truthfulness.
He said the occasion marks offering of gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting patience to observe fasts during the month of holly Ramadhan. He added the occasion teaches us compassion, mercy and kindness towards humanity and human cause.
