Baramulla, May 14: Four shops were gutted in a fire on Tangmarg-Gulmarg road in North Kashmir’s Barmaulla district, an official said.
No casualty was reported, he said.
The fire broke out in one of the shops located in Tangmarg that spread to other three shops. All the four shops were guttled completely in the fire incident.
The official told news agency Kashmir News Trust that fire fighters, locals and police rushed to the spot and the flames were doused after hard efforts.
No one was injured in the fire, the official said adding that goods worth lakhs were destroyed in the incident.
Police in this regard registered a case and started investigation. (KNT)
