Baramulla, May 25: Police in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district arrested four accused after the death of a man in a scuffle.
Police said that it received a complaint that, one person identified as Ghulam Din Gazi son of Abdul Gaffar Gazi resident of Chakloo Baramulla got seriously injured during scuffle between two parties over a land dispute.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Baramulla. The injured person was shifted to GMC Baramulla where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
Acting swiftly, Police arrested four accused persons involved in the commission of crime. They have been identified as Ali Mohd Changa son of Lal Changa, Jan Mohd Changa, Ayaz Ahmad Changa both sons of Ali Muhammad Changa, Ulfat daughter of Ali Mohd Changa all residents of Chakloo Baramulla. One more accused person involved in the commission of crime is at large and efforts are on to effect his arrest. Police have also seized a tractor from the scene of crime.
Police said further investigation is going on. (KNT)
