Jammu: Jammu Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association, gave a heroic welcome to the Medicos  Paramedical Staff of NHM , and media persons at an impressive but simple Function at KC Residency Jammu, These medical  Personal returned to their homes ater twenty one days They treated and looked after Corona Patients for seven days in COVID19 Hospital  Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and thereafter completed fourteen days quarantine period, in KC Residency, Jammu. It is due to the tireless efforts and dedication of these Frontline Corona Warriors and Health Heroes that all the Corona Positive Patients admitted in COIVID 19 Hospital, Gandhi Nagar-Jammu, were cured, could go back to their families and not even a single valuable life was lost to Corona in Jammu. The felicitation Programme was organised by Rohit Seth-President JKNHM Employees Association, Rajinder Kumar Sharma Advisor, JKNHM Employees Association, Pardeep Sharma among others. The felicitation programme was presided by Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Jammu, who on behalf of JKNHM Employees Association, awarded felicitation Certificates to the NHM Medicos Dr. Suruchi Gupta, Dr. Karuna Wazir, Miss. Anita Mehra-Nurse, Mrs. Amanmeet Kour-Nurse,and  Mrs. Manpreet Kour-Nurse,   who looked after them during the entire quarantine period.Rohit Seth-President JKNHM Employees Association and Sh. Rajinder Kumar Sharma-Advisor, while speaking on the occasion said that the medicos and paramedical staff of National Health Mission have set extraordinary and higher standards of service, dedication, devotion, dutifulness and valour for others to follow. When the near ones are distancing from Corona positive people, reports have surfaced in media, where nears and dears have refused to perform last rites of their family members. In such a situation these NHM Employees and several others left their families and preferred to treat, look after and serve the helpless corona infected people, while putting their own well being to risk. What you people did is extraordinary. Every one of you deserves a big salute, Hats off to all of you. This facilitation and honour is just a small gesture and token of gratitude towards invaluable services rendered by you in the service of the nation and humanity. All of you deserve tonnes more than this. They further added that despite their remarkable Contribution, in offering services to the people and being performing assets of the Health Department they are working on meagre salaries with insecure and uncertain future and continue to be contractual employees.  We humbly request Honourable Lt. Governor Union Territory Jammu Kashmir to kindly regularise all categories of NHM staff as promised fulfil all of our long pending genuine demands and the commitments made to this effect by the authorities, from time to time, in the past.Chander Mohan Gupta-Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, appreciated and welcomed this noble gesture of JK National Health Mission Employees Association and added that such voluntary noble gestures strengthen our resolve and capacity to fight against such catastrophes. Everyone of us and whole nation is indebted to the NHM  Employees, who not only risked their lives for well being of others but sometimes had to swallow the draught of insult and misbehaviour of a few insane and inhuman. He said that the services and the sacrifice of NHM Employees are invaluable and highly appreciable. He assured them that he will take up their long pending genuine demands with the appropriate authorities and try his level best to get them addressed at the earliest.
