Jammu 10 May, 2020 Former minister Thakur Randhir Singh National President Aromatic Plants Growers association of India (APGAI) lauded the government’s move to include areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir in the weather reports and demanded from the Indian government led by Prime minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to take more substantive actions to wrest the control of PoK from Pakistan.
Mr Singh praised the Indian Meteorological Department which included in its report the weather forecasts of towns such as Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Nilam regions located in Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. This is the first time when IMD has started predicting the weather for these areas under the north-west subdivision. Mr Singh further said that Ladakh’s Northern Areas (Gilgit-Baltistan) and Muzaffarabad, which are under Pakistan’s illegal occupation, the development assumes significance as India has always maintained the position that all of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, including Northern Areas (Gilgit-Baltistan) in an integral and inseparable part of India.Mr Singh said that it is the right time for Indian Army to take back the POK as our soldiers are doing commendable jobs by eliminating the top commanders of the terrorists .
