Srinagar, May 29 Two ‘notorious drug peddlers’ were arrested in Handwara of Kupwara district, a police official said on 
Sunday.
Identifying the alleged duo as Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Sultan Dar, resident of Lachipora and Nisaar Ahmad Tantry son of Ab Majeed, resident of Turkpora, the official said the accused were booked under judicial custody and shifted to Sub-jail Kupwara for further detention.
“The arrests are part of measures’ to curb drug menace and safeguard public”, the official told GNS. (GNS)
