Bandipora Jun 17 In a tragic incident, a mother-son duo died after a tree fell on their tent in Lashkoot area of Bandipora, officials said here on Friday.
An official told *Kashmir News Service (KNS)* that during gusty winds today a hige tree fell on Kotha (tent) in Lashkoot forest area of Bandipora, resulting in on spot death of a woman and her son.
He identified the deceased as Zareena Begum wife of Shair Mohammad Kasana and her son Yasir Ahmad of Quilmuqam locality of Bandipora.
The official said that after medico-legal formalities, bodies will be taken to Quilmuqam for last rites. (KNS)
