Srinagar, July 26 Police in Srinagar outskirts have arrested five thieves in connection with bike and cell phone theft.
A police spokesperson said that Police Station Panthachowk during the investigation of Case (55/22 U/S 397/IPC) apprehended 5 thieves from whose questioning 17 stolen mobile phones and one stolen Bike have been recovered.
Police identified these thieves as Suhail Ahmad Bhat alias Suhail Dentor of Zewan, Owais Ahmad Wani alias Guddu of Zewan, Owais Gul alias Bulky of Drang Bal Pampore, Akib Ahmad Wani alias Karnal of Zaffran colony and Suhail Ahmad Ganie alias Suhail Pujj.
Police said that all modern means of investigation were employed in the investigation of the case leading to clues. Further investigation is going on. (KNT)
