Srinagar, Aug 12, The dead body of a 14-year-old boy who had drowned in river Jehlum in Nawakadal area of old Srinagar city on late Wednesday afternoon was retrieved after three days by the River Police.
A Class 7 student Moomin Rasool from Dal Hasanyar Habakadal drowned in the river Jehlum while taking a bath on Wednesday.
River police had launched a rescue operation to trace the body and today on Friday the body was retrieved from the river in Safakadal area. (KNT)
