Awantipora, Jan 15: A Range Rover was destroyed after it caught fire on Srinagar-Anantnag highway on Sunday.
The incident occurred at Padgampora Awantipora highway in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a Range Rover (DL6CM-1835) burst into flames suddenly. They said the driver and passengers alighted from the vehicle in the nick of time.
Sources added that a fire tender rushed to spot and doused the fire.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
