Poonch, Feb 26: Jammu and Kashmir Police alongwith Army on Sunday recovered a huge quantity of high-valued narcotics and has arrested three smugglers believed to be running a cross LoC narcotics peddling racket in the district.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an operation was launched jointly by Army and police in Poonch and three narcotics peddlders have been intercepted.
The trio was running a cross LoC smuggling racket, said officials.
Around three kilograms of high-valued narcotics worth crores has been recovered so far in Noorkote village on LoC in Poonch sector, officials said.
They added that the operation is going on and more arrests are expected—(KNO)
