Stresses for early settlement of Jamabandi
SHOPIAN, JUNE 05: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin today chaired a meeting of revenue officers to discuss re-verification of BPL, AAY and other categories.
The DC on the occasion directed the revenue officers to speed up the process of preparation of revenue papers and ensure early settlement of jamabandi to streamline all relevant records.
During the meeting DC exhorted upon the officers present in the meeting for re-verification of BPL and AAY categories so that each and every deserving is enlisted in the due course of time.
He assured that district administration is always on the forefront to do the needful and justice will be served especially to those who belong to poor families.
The DC impressed upon the officers that while performing their duties they should strictly adhere to the advisories issued by the government and maintain social distancing keeping in view the Covid-19.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Zainapora, Tehsildars and others concerned.
