Srinagar, Feb 11: Member of Parliament Engineer Rasheed made his first appearance in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday after being flown from police custody to attend the session.
Details available with the news agency JKNS said the MP from Baramulla, Er Rasheed, today made his first appearance in the Lok Sabha. Rasheed was flown to Parliament from police custody to attend the session.
Meanwhile, sources told JKNS he was earlier taken for a medical checkup, from where he was en route to Parliament.
Lastly, on Monday, a Delhi court granted two-day parole to MP Engineer Rasheed to attend Parliament. However, he has been restricted from speaking to the media or accessing the internet. (JKNS)
