Government Forces believe that at least two militants were trapped inside a residential house in Lakadpora village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An unidentified militant has already been killed in the exchange of fire in a nearby orchard earlier this late afternoon.
Police sources told News Agency KNT that after exchange of fire militants managed to enter into residential.
Sources added that village is under cordon and door to door searches are being carried out.
Latest reports said that Government Forces have installed lights around the village.
A police official said they expected at least two militants to be trapped in the village. Over two dozen youth earlier took to the streets in the area and hurled stones at the Forces. “They were dispersed by the police and the CRPF,” said police official. KNT
