Kulgam, Sep 27: A wholesale kiryana (grocery) shop was completely destroyed in a fire incident in the Yaripora area of Kulgam district on Saturday evening.
As per reports received by news agency JKNS, the shop, owned by Parvaiz Ahmad Nadaf, son of Ayoub Nadaf, a resident of Kanjikulla, caught fire due to an apparent short-circuit.
All wholesale grocery items inside the shop were reduced to ashes before the flames could be brought under control by fire and emergency service team.
No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident. (JKNS)
