Soliha Zahoor, a resident of Wanipora Saloora in Ganderbal, has been making waves in the cycling world with her remarkable achievements. Currently studying in 12th class at Green Valley Higher Secondary School, Soliha has proven that her dedication to sports is unmatched. With a passion for cycling that knows no bounds, she has represented her state in four national-level cycling events held across various states, showcasing her commitment and determination to excel in her sport.

Soliha is proudly recognized as the first girl cyclist from Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir. Soliha has participated in several national-level cycling events, including the Road Cycling Championship in Puri, Odisha, the Mountain Bike Championship in Panchkula, Haryana, and the Track & Road Event in Vijaypur, Karnataka. She was honored by the Hon’ble Governor of J&K with a cash prize for her outstanding contribution and achievements in cycling.
Soliha also secured first position in a prestigious race organized by the Indian Army, from Baramulla to Kaman Post (Aman Setu), and received a cash award and memento from senior Army officers. Soliha is a role model for young girls in rural Kashmir, inspiring them to pursue sports and break barriers. She has been recognized by schools, local media, and youth platforms for promoting a healthier and more inclusive sporting culture. Soliha’s hard work and achievements did not go unnoticed. She had the honor of participating in the Cyclothon – Pedal for Peace event, where she met some of the most influential figures in the sports industry.
